We are a not-for-profit club run by volunteers and supported by membership and fundraising.
We are proud members of Swim Alberta and Swim Canada.
Our coaches are all Swimming Canada's National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) certified and members of Canadian Swim Coaches and Teachers Association (CSCTA), Alberta Coaches Council (ACC) and Swimming Canada (SNC).
Our main objective is to encourage our members in the successful development of swimming techniques. We provide access to top-notch coaching, facilities and numerous opportunities for our members to compete against other swim clubs throughout the year.

About Us
The Rocky Barracuda Swim Club is primarily a competitive year-round club who also serves non-competitive swimmers. We are a non-for-profit organization that provides certified coaches to our earliest novice members up to the most advanced levels of swimmers. Our focus is in developing athletes both in and out of the water. We strive for individual and team development, technical proficiency in the water, and physical conditioning to teach and support life-long fitness.

To instill a life-long love of swimming and provide programming which promotes excellence in training, team unity, and character development, in order for all athletes to reach their highest potential.
OUR MISSION
- To bolster a love of swimming by providing programming that develops, grows, and challenges swimmers in the RMH area in the pursuit of personal excellence in the pool.
- To promote the growth of the athlete including building confidence, swimming skills/technique, and healthy habits which foster life-long involvement in sport.
- To encourage attitudes of sportspersonship, and parental involvement.
- To provide caring, certified, professional coaches.
- To maintain a cost effective rate for families to participate in swimming as an inclusive equitable sport opportunity within our community.
