Swim Alberta, Swim Canada Registration Fee:

Swimmers must be currently enrolled with REMS and fees paid to Swim AB and Swim Canada.

This is an annual fee that is non refundable and must be paid before swimmers can enter the water. This fee goes straight to Swim AB and Swim Canada to cover insurance etc and as such the club cannot refund it. 

Monthly Fees:

2 days per week $90 per month (same as 2023-2024)

Volunteer Bond: $150.00

Swim Meet Fees:

-Swim meet fees are issued when participating in competitive swim meets. This fee varies according to a few factors:

• Number of swimmers attending the swim meet
• Duration of the swim meet
• Number of events a swimmer competes in

What do my fees cover?

- Coaching, lifeguards, lane time, registration fee

Multi Swimmer Discount:

We offer a discount to families with one or more swimmers in regular training. 

1st swimmer – full monthly fees

every additional sibling is 25% off

In the event that the non-discounted swimmer in a family should leave the club, the remaining swimmer registered for the most training hours will become the non-discounted swimmer.

 Please note:

• E-Transfer to [email protected] for the first half of the season is required at the first week of January for the following:

• For fees October-December 2026
• For fees January - March 2027
• Volunteer Bond, $150 (per family)

Fees must be paid in full to start in the subsequent swim season. There are two invoice cycles. Invoices are sent via email.

(2 invoices for short course season, 1 invoice for long course season)

• There will be no adjustment/reduction of fees based on the planned attendance per week below the required hours of regular training listed above.

• There will be no makeup hours. Swimmers will only be allowed to swim during their registered hours.

• Withdrawal from RBSC requires 1-month advance notice to both the Executive and the Coaches. Refunds will be issued for any paid months following the month in which notice was given or will be reduced by 1 month of fees in lieu of notice.

• Written notice to the Executive is required in the calendar month preceding any planned absence greater than one month in order for fees to be waived for the month of planned absence. Planned absence of either four weeks or one calendar month, whichever is less, is required to waive the fee.

• Communications regarding swim meets, club events, etc. will be posted here on our website. We will also have a group whatsapp for swim club.

• Swim Alberta fees are non-refundable.

• NSF cheques will be charged a $20 service fee.  

Volunteering Obligations

Each family must submit a volunteer bond cheque/eTransfer at the time of registration for $150. Over the course of the season there are mandatory volunteer functions. Functions TBD. Upon completion of these volunteer obligations, your $150 volunteer bond will be refunded or if you choose will be rolled into the next season.
