In order to allow coaches time to select the events for your swimmer, our club deadline for registering for this meet is end of day Wednesday, April 8/2026. If you wish to scratch from the event after the closing date, please email [email protected] before 12:00 pm (noon) Monday, April 13/2026. You will not be considered scratched until you have received a confirmation email back from us.

This is the Central Alberta Race Series (CARS) # 5, out of a total of six races in the series, and hosted by the Rocky Barracudas Swim Club. The focus of the Central Alberta Race Series is to offer novice swimmers a fun and local swim competition while providing Central Alberta Swim Clubs the opportunity to train officials in Level 2 positions.

The following clubs are invited to compete: Olds Rapids, Ponoka Pool Sharks, Red Deer Catalina, Stettler Swim Club, and Sylvan Lake Nauticals.

Swimmers are limited to a maximum of four (4) individual events.

25 m Exhibition Events will not be officially timed. This will provide the opportunity for exhibition swimmers to practice their race stroke in a competitive environment without disqualification.

It is recommended that teams only enter swimmers below the provincial standard, however there is no restriction based on the swimmer’s level.

Scratch Deadline: Monday, March 9, 2025

RELAY RACES

Team Relay races will be a 4 x 50 m Kick Relay and 4 x 50 m Freestyle.  Teams must be from the same club, same gender and grouped in the following age categories:

10 & under, 11-14, 15 & over.

Relay teams must be submitted by the Scratch Deadline:Monday, March 9, 2025

Meet Management may accept Team Relay updates no later than the end of Warm-Up.

You will not be considered scratched until you have received a confirmation email back from us.  Please make sure to indicate which sessions your swimmer(s) are available for.
